I updated this post to include the finding that a charge that Asian students had beaten up an African American student the day before was based on hearsay. See below.

BRYN MAWR, PA – The teachers at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy went on strike Monday, after reaching an impasse with the schools’ management. Teachers set up picket lines in front of the campus here early in the morning, attracting tremendous support from students, alumni, parents and passers-by. On this show we hear a feature about how Philadelphia Student Union has affected the lives of members. We also hear a piece that asks whether Advanced Placement classes are dividing students and distributing schools' resources inequitably.
