City Workers' in Camden Rally Against Drastic Cuts; Blockade Ben Franklin Bridge

On Tuesday, more than two hundred city workers in Camden rallied before city council demanding a vote of no confidence in the cities Chief Operating Officer Theodore Davis. The march, which shutdown traffic on the Ben Franklin Bridge, brought together police, firefighters and city workers and displayed a unified front against the municipal and state government, which we have not yet seen in Philadelphia.

Abatements Unfair

Friday, Jonathan Stein from Community Legal Services and a past member of the Philadelphia Tax Reform Commission got a letter to the editor published in the Philadelphia Inquirer calling for an end to Philadelphia's 10-year tax abatements for the "super-rich." The letter is reprinted below.
