High-end development in the city is awarded 10 year tax-abatements that relinquish them from contributing to the tax base for ten years, while working families are asked to pay more and more as their neighborhoods become 'hot spots' on the real-estate market. What is the city's plan for longtime residents and working class Philadelphians who will see dramatic spikes in their property taxes?

Is there any easy way for me
Is there any easy way for me (a Philadelphia resident, not currently working with any groups addressing gentrification) to get involved in the Don't Tax Me Out campaign? I've been trying to identify a way to be involved but haven't hit on any leads...
