Through interviews with five coalition memebrs, this audio piece tells part of the story of how the Coalition was successful in keeping all of Philadelphia's libraries open and the work that has followed that initial victory. Although all of the libraries are still open, budget cuts have resulted in random closures and an overall decrease in open hours in neighborhood branches.

As Philadelphia neighborhoods like Brewerytown are transformed by corporate development projects which place profit over people, we must support the communities that have fought for survival.
