NO SLOTS ON CREDIT!

The No Casino Coalition is now pushing 30 second radio ads targeting the Philadelphia Deligation of the State Legislature and Pittsburgh representatives to stop bill that would allow casinos to push credit on the gaming floor.

The bill is part of a broader gaming reform package that includes the expansion of  gaming in PA to include table games. The credit provision is being pushed by the casino industry as 'standard practice.'  The No Casino Coalition and neighborhood advocates are appaled by this portion of the bill because this 'standard practice' would increase debt in poor and working communitites that already frequent Pennsylvania casinos and are targeted by the two proposed Philadelphia casinos.

The No Casino Coalition is raising money to support airing the ads on WKYW and WURD radio. The ads will also be aired on stations in Pittsburgh. Media Mobilizing Project supported on the production of the ads.
