Trouble in Brewerytown

In case you missed this, there is big trouble at the "non-profit" Brewerytown CDC. And, our sources tell us that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Brewerytown CDC is the group that has supported all of the gentrifying developments in the neighborhood; has been quick to offer pro-Clarke/pro-developer statements to the press whenever AABRA sponsored an initiative; and has been VERY handsomely compensated by the enemies of North Philly (Pennrose, Westrum, City Hall, etc.). Most of our neighbors aren't shedding any tears over their current self-destructive acts.

We've essentially ignored them, but we think it's important that you be kept informed about what's happening here.

We are hoping that they are transformed into a community-focused organization that we can work with - assuming that's possible.
